Paras Ramani, MFTI

Paras Ramani is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (#IMF91902) who specializes in working with children, teens, and adults. He is supervised by Sophia Dyer, LMFT (#87988). He obtained his B.S. in Business Psychology and M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child therapy. He specializes in working with kids who have trouble getting along with others and their parents. Paras is fluent in Gujarati and uses a culturally competent, client-centered approach to work with each child and individual on their specific needs in order to create the lasting change they want. 


  • Marriage and Family Therapist Intern providing support to children, youth, adults, couples and families both in the school system and in-office at Community Health Awareness Council (2014-2016).
  • Admissions Counselor assisting current students and potential students with their inquiries and concerns regarding mental health services (2014).
  • Conducted a yearlong research study on Burnout and Motivation within teaching at multiple levels of academia (2011-2012).
